History
The museum was opened in 2015 in a house steeped in history in the heart of downtown Prague.
Steve Jobs built the first personal computer with his friend Steve Wozniak in his parents' garage and founded the Apple Computer Company in 1976. The first product to feature the now legendary apple with a bite was the Apple I, which sold for $666.66 US. The prototype was still in a homemade wooden case.
The exhibition includes the most valuable and complex collection of computers from 1976 to 2012, and is considered the world's largest private collection of Apple products. Numerous private exhibitors have made their computers, Macs, and other accessories available for this purpose.
Timelines with all model generations of iPhones, iPods, iPads, iMacs, and Power Macs can be seen in the museum. It is said that 12,000 meters of computer cables were laid.
Additionally, business cards, posters, and information material from the history of Apple and the two companies important to Steve Jobs, Next and Pixar, are on display.
Some of the museum's walls feature quotes from Steve Jobs, including, "Design is not just how it looks or feels. Design is how it works."
