Exhibition\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/praguetouristinformation.com\/en\/sightseeing\/museum\/lego?tve=true&amp;tcbf=4d518e1735\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Czech LEGO collector Milos Krecek had around 1,000 sets all together when he decided to exhibit the assembled parts in his own museum.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the private Lego Museum, in a historic building in the center of Prague, is the largest of its kind in the world, not only in terms of numbers, but also with the size of the exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>More than 3,000 Lego sets are on display in 20 different, thematically separated departments spread over 340 square meters on 3 floors, the oldest dating back to 1949, with a total of more than 1 million Lego blocks used.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibits are constantly being added to and modified.<\/p>\n<p>Exhibits from the early days of the Danish company, dating back to the 1930s, are also on display in the museum.<\/p>\n<p>LEGO was awarded the title of &#8220;Toy of the Century&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, the name of the construction set simply came from the word combination &#8220;Leg godt!&#8221;, which means &#8220;Play well!&#8221;
